What is the WS13A Wall Switch?
The WS13A Relay Switch is designed to integrate your CFL, Halogen, or LED bulbs. It can also be used to automate large appliances or other units operated by a switch. This unit is controlled by a 20amp relay that completely cycles power on and off to the wired device/appliance.With the use of the , this unit can be set up in 3-way and 4-way configurations. It will fit any regular decorator wall plate.
This switch operates locally, but can also be paired with any of X10 enabled controllers to be controlled remotely. No need to get off the couch to turn off that light for the movie. Get the right movie watching environment with the touch of a button. Use this unit with a to save electricity by turning units on and off at preset times, instead of having them on all the time!
This unit does not respond to ALL LIGHTS ON, but DOES respond to ALL LIGHT OFF. This is important to note when using all lights on/off when leaving or entering a house or when shutting down at night.

For single-pole applications, leave the "control" terminal unconnected.
Because these switches respond to ALL LIGHTS OFF, use care when controlling non-lamp loads. Use an X10 appliance module or wall receptacle if you don't want your device to respond to that command.
A three-way circuit requires one relay switch and one multi-way companion switch. A four-way circuit requires one relay switch and two multi-way companion switches.
