What is the KR19A Keychain Remote?
The KR19A compact remote is one of our customers favorites. It is ultra small and easily fits on a keychain. It has 6 buttons (two sets of On and Off and dimming buttons). With this unit you can control two different X10 codes (each code can control mutliple devices), you can also dim them!
This unit is great for turning on and off lights as you enter and exit your home. Want to turn on a porch light or houselight as you enter? Are you trying to turn off lights as you leave? This unit is perfect for this and you won't lose the remote as it will always be on your keychain.

What other products work with the KR19A Keychain Remote?
The KR19A is a wireless controller. In order for the signal to reach all the X10 modules, it does require at least one Wireless Transceiver for your home. The TM751 Wireless Transceiver is our most popular one. The KR19A is a controller and can control any X10 Receiver (lamp module, Appliance Module, Light Switch, Etc)

Note: This device requires an RF receiver to transmit X10 signals wirelessly to other X10 control modules
To change the Housecode, simply hold down the (top) ON button for 3 seconds. After the LED light flashes, press and release the (top) ON button the appropriate number of times for the Housecode you want to set. Once for A, twice for B, etc. The LED blinks for each press.
To change the unit code: Press and hold the (top) OFF button for 3 seconds. The red LED blinks back the current code. Press and release the top OFF button the appropriate number of times for the Unit Code you want. 1 time for Unit Code 1, 2 times for 2, 16 times for 16. The bottom button (lower) will automatically become 1 unit code higher than the top. (For example, if the top button is A5, then the bottom button will be A6)
