X10 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) When I use my remote control to brighten my Leviton wall switch, it only brightens a little bit. Why? Why does my Leviton wall switch on House Code "M" dim when I try to brighten the light? Users of Leviton's newest Intellisense switches can experience these problems when using a radio-frequency remote (RT504, UR47A, Palm Pad) in conjunction with a regular RF Transceiver, like the RR501 and the TM751. These switches make the use of the extended X10 code for dimming and brightening, and misinterpret regular X10 dimming data from the RR501 and the TM751. There isn't currently a solution to this problem, but you can use an X10 security console as a transceiver, or use plug-in mini controllers to work around it. |
