I can't turn off the lights on my FloodCam. What should I do?

If you can turn the camera in your FloodCam on and off, but can't turn the spotlights off using the remote control, please follow the steps below.

Note: Do this during daylight hours in a well lit environment.

1. Turn off or disconnect power to the FloodCam.
2. Turn the "Light Sensitivity" dial all the way to the "LIGHT" setting (extreme counterclockwise position).
3. Turn the "Delay" dial all the way to the "MIN" setting (extreme counterclockwise position).
4. Turn the power to the FloodCam back on, and do not allow motion in its viewing area for at least 30 seconds.
5. Now walk in front of the FloodCam. Then leave the viewing area of the FloodCam for at least another 60 seconds.
6. At this point, the lights should turn off.
7. If the lights have not turned off; stay out of the viewing area of the motion sensor and use any X10 remote control to send an "OFF" signal to that FloodCam. Make sure that the House and Unit code you are trying to command match that of the FloodCam.

Does the FloodCam have a microphone?

No, the FloodCam only transmits video.

What is the power consumption of the Floodcam?

The FloodCam uses 6 Watts of power, excluding any attached floodlights.
