The monitoring station can also re-program certain parameters through a telephone download. These include your latitude/longitude for automatic dusk calculation of random lived-in-look lighting, monitoring station dialing info, built-in siren disable (allows silent alarm dialout), entry/exit delays, frequency with which the system automatically calls monitoring station to test system.  The system can be armed in instant/delay, home/away modes. In home mode, motion detectors are disabled while door/window sensors are armed. This allows you to walk around the house yet have your doors and windows protected from entry. Add up to eight different security coded remotes (either handheld or keychain) to the system for every member of the family.  This security system monitors up to 16 supervised sensors (supervised means that the console expects the sensor to send a confirmation signal every 90 minutes. If it doesn’t get the signal it knows that something is wrong).

The Monitor Plus system includes; 1 main console, 1 motion detector, 1 lamp unit, 1 keychain remote control, 1 Security/Home Automation remote control, 2 door/window sensors.

The Monitor Plus Security System can be armed in instant/delay, home/away modes. In home mode, motion detectors are disabled while door/window sensors are armed. This allows you to walk around the house yet have your doors and windows protected from entry. Add up to 8 different security-coded remotes (either handheld or keychain) to the system, one for every member of the family.

You can use any combination of door/window and motion detector sensors you want. The status of each sensor is displayed by the LEDs on the console. If the LED is OFF, the sensor is OK. If it is ON the sensor has been tripped. If it is FLASHING then the sensor battery is low or the sensor has been tampered with. The LEDs work even when the system is disarmed so you can see what is going on in the various zones of your house.
