Hello everyone! My name is Rob, and I'm the IT guy at X10. I use our products every day. But let me tell you about one of the more interesting ways I've used X10:

I used my Wide Lens Camera System to capture the birth of a foal from my wife's favorite mare. We set the system up because we did not want to miss the birth, and also did not want to stress the mare out. We mounted the camera inside of the mare's stall so it would send and save all of the images to my computer. We actually got to watch the entire birth of our new colt live on my computer. It was pretty amazing. By the way, his name is Duke and he is healthy, happy and spirited. Duke is now almost two years old and we still get to look at the video of him as a baby, we hope to start riding him this winter.

Anyway, here is what you get:

For starters, you get a tiny, wireless, full color camera with an extra-wide lens, so you can see twice the viewing range of normal surveillance cameras. You can mount this tiny camera indoors or out, because it's encased in a tough, weather-resistant shell. Although I se it to watch my horses, it's also handy for the front door, back door or car port.

What really makes this particular system great is the state-of-the-art Vanguard Internet Software and Motion Sensor. Any time motion is detected, my system emails me snapshots. That way, whether I'm on my home PC, at work or even out of town on vacation, I will always know what's up at home.

I can also set it up to record video to my hard drive when motion is detected. Heck, I can even get online from anywhere in the world and view my home LIVE. And this system is flexible. If I want, I can just hook the receiver up to my TV, and catch all the action on my flat screen.

Anyway, I've never seen a better price on a system like this. It's easy to set up, useful and also a lot of fun!
