Let me tell you about my favorite kit...

It's a simple Auto-Lighting Kit you can use indoors or out. I use my stuff in a town house at the moment, and have a Motion Sensor and two Socket Rocket Screw-In Lamp Modules set up on my front and porch for when people walk up at night. The instant anyone sets foot on my front steps, there is an instant pathway of light. Not only does it light the way for my friends, but it also deters strangers. And since I don't have to keep my porch light on all night, it saves energy, too.

All you have to do is mount the Motion Sensor where you want the motion-activation. And these things are weather resistant, so you can put them indoors or out. Then, screw the Socket Rockets into the light fixtures you want - they work with lamps, enclosed porch lights, track lights, whatever. And don't forget to plug in the Transceiver. Then you're done!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, as soon as the motion ceases, the Motion Sensor sends an off command to the lights, so you don't waste energy. And if you don't want to use this as a porch light kit, you can use it on your basement steps, bathroom, closet or wherever. Motion-activated lighting is just plain useful. Enjoy!
