Hi guys! I'm Catherine and this is how I use my X10 stuff.

I tend to come home late at night, and it gets pretty dark walking up my stairs. So, I've set up a remote lighting system.

All I have to do is click a button on my Keychain Remote as I walk up the steps, and the lights come on - inside and out.

This kit comes with one dimmable Lamp Module. Simply plug any incandescent lamp in your house into this module and you have instant control. You can dim it even if it didn't dim before!

You also get a Socket Rocket Screw-In Lamp Module. Screw it into lamp, overhead or enclosed porch light fixture, then screw in the light bulb and you'll be controlling this by remote!

Finally, you get the tiny Keychain Remote and Transceiver, which receives the remote signals and sends them to the lights.

I just clip this little remote on my keychain, and click one button to turn on the porch light, then click the other to turn on the living room light, and voila! My home is lit up before I enter!
