Hey guys and gals! I'm Casey, the new guy at X10.

Well, sort of, that is. I've actually been using X10 gear since I was in fifth grade, believe it or not. So working here is a dream come true. Here's how I use my X10:

Between working late and trying to hang out with friends, I live a busy life. Sometimes I don't get home until late in the evening. I like to use our ActiveHome PC software to set my lights on schedules that match mine. Some of my lights are set to automatically come on at night and turn off in the morning. Other lights I have set to come on at certain times. And, before bed, I turn off my lights with my little remote, which I keep bedside.

This sweet kit is really all you need, and only take 15 or 20 minutes to get it all up and going.

You get a PalmPad Remote and a tiny Keychain Remote to remotely control your lights and appliances from anywhere in the house.

You get an Appliance Module, a dimmable Lamp Module and a Screw-In Lamp Module so you can instantly take control of two lights and an appliance. And I like the fact that if you want to expand, you can add as many more modules as you want.

What makes this kit even better is that you get a Motion Sensor, too. Add it indoors or out, and the instant someone approaches, it will automatically turn on the lights. It will even turn them off again when the motion stops!

To top it off, you get the entire ActiveHome Software Suite! With ActiveHome Pro, you'll be able to schedule and control your home from your PC. You'll be able to control your home or monitor your cameras (sold separately) from anywhere in the world via the Internet and see, record and control your cameras on your home PC.
