Motion-Activated Recording Kit Having a security camera system is a great addition to any home but it isn't much use to you unless you're sitting at home in front of your TV. The ability to record what happens when you aren't around is vital, especially when there is a problem and you have no video footage to see what happened. That's why we have created this little Motion-Activated Recording Kit to compliment most of our security camera systems, and we will give it to you for free (normally a $75 package). Here's how it works: You simply set up the 'VCR Commander' to your VCR or DVR using the infrared controller on the Commander unit. After that, put the motion sensor somewhere within the line of sight of your security camera. Then, when someone walks by and triggers the motion sensor it sends a command that tells your camera to turn on and your VCR Commander to start your VCR/DVR recording. That way, whenever something happens you will have the footage recorded to tape so you can review it when you get home. Nothing missed because you were gone! And, since this little system will record only when there is something worth recording you don't waste your time and tape fast-forwarding through hours of nothing. It's our little way of lending you a helping hand while you're away.

These Cameras are 'Wireless', not to be confused with 'cordless'

Wireless is the term given to these cameras to explain its video transmission and operation; this doesn't mean that there are no cords attached to it. Some of our customers get confused by the term and expect a camera without cords but like every electronic device it needs a power supply. So while you can put your camera anywhere you like you're not necessarily free to mount it to the top of a tree (unless you run an extension cord out to it). Every security camera on the market requires a power supply of some kind but while other security camera companies require that they rip up your walls in order to tap into your electrical circuit, our cameras can be connected to any existing wall outlet (or extension cord for distance).
