Lamp Module
Turn it on, turn it off, make it dimmer or brighter! The dimmable, plug-in Lamp Module is the best way to automate your lights. Just plug it into the wall, plug in the lamp and you're done.
The Lamp Module fits into any standard wall outlet and can dim and brighten (as well as turn on and off) any lamp plugged into it. The Lamp Module is designed for lamps only; the dim/brighten feature will not work with accessory lights, such as holiday decorations, and some fluorescents (appliance module must be used).

Socket Rocket
Just screw the Socket Rocket Screw-In Lamp Module into a lamp, overhead light, enclosed porch light or wall sconce and screw in the light bulb. It's the easiest way to automate your lights!
The Socket Rocket works with any standard incandecent light bulb such as porch lights and overhead lights to let you turn them on and off by remote or motion sensor. It will only work with standard incandescent light bulbs and sockets.

Wireless Transceiver
The Wireless Transceiver is the backbone of any X10 Home Automation system. Simply plug it into a power outlet, and it will receive wireless commands from your remotes and motion sensors and deliver them to your light/appliance modules! It even doubles as an Appliance Module so you can control an additional lamp, fan, radio, etc.
This is one of the most important modules in any X10 System. If you do not own ActiveHome Pro or a Minitimer you must have a Transceiver Module in order for you to control your Lamp Modules and Appliance Modules. And, because the electricity in your house is divided into two circuits you will need a Transceiver for each.

Q. What appliances can I use with the Appliance Module?
A. These appliance modules work with fans, air-conditioners, dehumidifiers, coffee pots, stereos, TVs and more.
Q. What about high amperage devices?
A. We do not recommend them for such usage. However, we do make modules for these as well.
Q. How does the Socket Rocket work with my security system?
A. It can flash the front porch light in the event of an alarm to alert the neighbors and police of trouble.
Q. Will I have to modify my lamps?
A. No not all. It's totally seamless control.
Q. What kind of lights does the Lamp Module control?
A. Standard incandescent lights but not halogens or fluorescents.
Q. How many lights and appliances can I control with the mini timer?
A. As many as you want. Between the 8 control switches, you can control multiple items depending on how many lamp and appliance modules you have set to the same unit code.
Q. How many devices can the PalmPad control?
A. Control up to 16 lights and appliances from anywhere in the house.
Q. Why would I want a wireless light switch (SlimLine)?
A. Simple. Because you don't want to do any wiring, pay any electricians or make a mess. It's the same size and shape as a standard light switch.Just peel-n-stick it!
Q. Will ActiveHome receive RF from remote controls and execute macros?
A. Yes. It will receive a command directly from your RF remote and start sending the X10 macro commands.
Q. How many lights and appliances can I control using ActiveHome?
A. X10 can control up to 256 unique addresses (combination of 16 house codes and 16 units codes). However, each address can have an unlimited number of modules.
Q. Do they work with ActiveHome?
A. OF COURSE THEY DO! Everything on this page is completely ActiveHome compatible.
