Can I use XRay Vision Streaming on a dial-up connection?
Yes, although you may encounter some trouble with quality of the video stream.

XRay Vision Streaming runs, but I can't see any video on the server. What's wrong?
There are few things that could cause this. First, make sure that your camera and the video receiver have power and are set to the same channel. Also check to be sure that video cable coming from the receiver (the one with the yellow connectors) is plugged securely into the X10 USB video capture adapter (model VA10A/VA11A).

If everything is connected properly, the problem is most likely with the video capture driver on your PC. Go into to Windows Device Manager to check the driver status -- right-click on "My Computer", choose "Properties" then the "Device Manager" tab. Look under "Imaging Devices." You should see a listing for "X10 USB Live Video Capture" without any exclamation marks, question marks or X-es in front of it. If you don't, unplug the VA10A/VA11A from your USB port and plug it in again. You should see a new window open that installs the drivers for the X10 video capture adapter.

Why won't Firecracker load all the way when I run the Streaming Viewer?
On some computers the Firecracker splash screen hides a configuration menu for the Firecracker interface. Drag the splash screen (the window with the Firecracker logo and version information on it) to the side and you will see configuration window. Click "OK" to configure the CM17A, and "OK" again when you have selected the right settings. If you are using this remotely, just click OK without changing anything.

I run the XRay Vision Streaming Server and nothing happens. What do I do?
The opening logo screen my be hiding an error message. Move the window out of the way and look for an error message. If there isn't any and X10 Live! won't load, please report this problem.

If you move the splash screen aside and see the message "Unable to Initialize Device" you should make sure that the drivers for your sound card and the X10 USB Video Capture Adapter are up to date on your system. See above for more information about setting up the VA10A or VA11A drivers.
