How it works ....
The Hawkeye II Motion Sensor sends wireless Radio Frequency (RF) signals to an
X10
Transceiver or any X10 security system base receiver. The Transceiver receives the signals
from the Motion Sensor and passes them onto your house wiring.
These signals are then
received by X10 lamp,
appliance, or
wall switch modules to control lights (or appliances)
around the home.
If you set the Hawkeye II
Motion Sensor to a unique code (House Code A and Unit Code 1), then walk into the
room where the Hawkeye II Motion Sensor is located, a lamp module set to "A1"
will turn on. As long as you keep moving, the light will stay on, and when you stop
moving, the light turns off after the amount of time you select.
The signals transmitted onto
your house wiring can also be received by the two-way Computer Interface (CM11A) to
initiate macros. The Computer Interface then performs a sequence of events that you've set
it up to do.
Special Features:
You can easily disable the
dawn/dusk feature so it will work 24 hours/day! No need to cover photo-cell with black
tape.
It has adjustable time
delay! You can set the delay from 1 minute to 255 minutes! Now you can have the
flexibility to have your lights, appliances, or even Macros turn off just 60 seconds after
you leave the room (The old version had only 1 setting of 6 minutes)

Enhances ActiveHome features
& functions:
Normally the Hawkeye II Motion Sensor
will turn on an X10 module set to its' code, however when used with the CM11A 2-way
Computer Interface (included with ActiveHome) the Hawkeye II Motion Sensor becomes
much more powerful. Instead of turning on a module set to A1, you can set A1 to initiate a
macro that performs a sequence of events. For example you enter the room, the table lamp
can turn on and dim to 70%, and the stereo can turn off 30 minutes later.
Built in photocell works like
a watchful eye and will turn lights on and off at dusk and sunrise. This will save you
energy as it only detects motion in the dark.

Why did we call it the Hawkeye Motion Sensor? These qualities are
shared between a hawk and our motion sensor ...

Use the ActiveHome
Software (V1.42) to show
you when motion is
detected in each room!
Download the software
for FREE!
Know when to turn on your Xcam2 Video Camera! Use your Hawkeye Motion Detector to
notify you when something is moving. Then turn on the TV and see what's going on.
The only
limit to
the Motion
Sensor
is your
imagination!
Here's some things
you can do with it!
Catch who's sneaking the cookies at night! Use your Hawkeye Motion Sensor with your XCam2!
When motion is detected, use a remote
chime to notify you, then record all the action with your VCR. In the morning, present
the evidence. Case closed! Or use the VCR
Commander and it will record ONLY the action automatically!
Never trip through a dark room again. Put one Motion Sensor in your closet, one in the
bathroom, one in the staircase, and one in the kitchen! When you walk into these rooms the
light comes on! Walk out, light turns off!
ActiveHome allows you to group events together into
a Macro. For example: a "romance macro" could dim the lights, start some music,
heat up the hot tub, and start the movie. Using your motion sensor, as soon as you walk in
the door, your Macro starts automatically.
When a guest arrives at your front door, have a chime ring in the back room. You'll be
ready to greet them even before they ring the doorbell. In fact, who needs a doorbell
anymore!
Shut off lights if there is no motion in the room (save tons of energy!) If you have
teenagers who constantly leave the lights on, we've come to rescue. Six minutes after they
leave, the lights turns off!
