The PDT20 is a new bi-directional X-10 unit that allows remote reading of thermostat temperature, setpoints and modes via 512 X-10 Extended codes commands. It features all of the functions of the PDT15 with the added bi-directional commands and responses. The bi-directional protocol also allows for more robust communications including message acknowledgement, status and secure/safe modes of operation. This thermostat can be used with many bi-directional control systems to greatly enhance the X-10 system's power for environmental control. The PDT20 features the new backlit LCD wall display unit and works with all one stage heat/one stage cool Standard HVAC systems or two stage heat/one stage cool Heat Pump HVAC systems. |
