| What: Hands-on,
interactive Mars Rover demonstration
Campers ages 7 to 16
enrolled in the robotics course at Cybercamps
(http://www.cybercamps.com),
a national leader in technology education for kids, will be
programming miniature robotic rovers to climb over a simulated
Mars landscape.
X10 Wireless Technology, Inc.(X10 WTI), www.x10.com),
has donated 50 wireless
cameras to the Cybercamps Mars Rover Robotics
Class, allowing campers to mount the cameras on top of
the robots and transmit images to their individual Cybercamps
Web sites.
How: Interactive
robot assembly
Campers have learned how to control robots remotely using a
software program. During a short
interactive assembly, kids will
learn how to mount the cameras to their robots, capture
images, and view and store them on
a PC.
