X10
www.x10.com
With security being at an all time high this season we
highly recommend picking up this great new XCam2 wireless video
camera from X10. It broadcasts in color, making moving objects
much more readable on to any TV, VCR or PC within 100 feet. Best
of all there is no “warm up” time. Cameras in the past
needed some lead time before they could begin emitting the
images but this one has Instant ON meaning it’s always ready
to broadcast. If you are using this for surveillance there is a
great 3 camera deal on their website. We got great reception
with this camera in several different locations, home, office
and even tried it at a local outlet mall.
Another new product from X10 is the Showtime Wireless Photo
Video Sender kit from X10. With a remote control and a wireless
receiver plugged into the USB slot on your computer you’ll be
able to view all your digital photos on the nearest TV in your
home. Glide through galleries of stills in the comfort of your
favorite recliner instead or upright in your office chair. So
many consumers are picking up HDTV and widescreens that it seems
a shame not to view all your media this way. We liked the
ease-of-use on this and think it would make a great gift for
anyone on your list who has a digital camera.
Rhinoskin

Accessories are hot this year. Nearly everyone and their
mother has a PDA but they don’t have a case for it. Rhinoskin
has some great cases for nearly every PDA out there. For
incredible durability try the titanium cases with a
“slider”. The PDA is placed inside and there is a sliding
component that allows the PDA to stand upright for better
viewing. It’s sort of like having a cradle in a case without
carrying additional hardware. There are plenty of cases to
choose from on their website. Leather or alumninum were also
high caliber. We think you’ll like these cases so much that
you’ll end up getting a few for yourself.

For sheer sleek ohhh’s and ahhh’s you have to pick up
this USB Clip Drive. Fashioned in about the size of a key chain
and currently available with various amounts of storage, 32MB
runs around $49 and 64MB around $79. Forget about carrying extra
floppies or zip disks around. With this super slim USB drive you
can load all of your favorite files and carry them with you
everywhere. Geeks and non-geeks will totally dig this little
number.
Nature Works
www.natureworks.com
Nature Works is a company that makes pillows and bedding
that anyone on your list would love to own. Using corn instead
of petroleum to make pillows not only makes sense it enables one
to have just about the best sleep I’ve had in months. These
hypo-allergenic pillows and bedding are not only environmentally
sound they are not filled with the usual harsh chemicals, making
them extremely “user friendly”. With a 230 thread count pick
up these at any Bed, Bath and Beyond near you.
Nintendo
www.nintendo.com
The Legend of Zelda is out for GBA, just in time for the girls
on your list.
This is actually two games in one, with the Super Nintendo
Entertainment System coupled with the first ever multiplayer
Zelda. We liked wielding all the swords and attacking using some
well placed bombs. Give girls a break from Barbie and introduce
them to Zelda.
