Showtime for
digital cameras
Gathering the family around a PC to
see your latest digital snapshots might garner more groans than
oohs and aahs. Now, you can wirelessly transmit your digital
slideshows from a Windows PC to a TV set in another room with
the $200 Showtime kit from X10. The kit includes a wireless
transmitter and receiver, a remote control, a USB video capture
adapter and power supplies. A basic digital camera capable of
shooting images at a top resolution of 640-by-480 pixels in good
light is also included. As with most X10 products, you must
download software from the company's Web site.
