June, X10.com (www.x10.com/pressroom17.htm) has filled nearly 70 requests from editors representing some of
the most respected computer and consumer press publications seeking to test the company's
family of 2.4-Gigagertz entertainment products and FireCracker home control starter
kit.
The 2.4-Gigahertz products consisting of the DVD Anywhere ,
MP3 Anywhere , XCam , and XCam
Anywhere have already appeared on CNET,
Wired.com, Internetnews.com, PC World Online, GadgetGuru, ZDNET Anchordesk, and the New
York Times Circuits section.
In addition, the DVD Anywhere and MP3 anywhere have been featured on
the Associated Press Radio Network and the national computer radio show, Into Tomorrow,
which has 77 affiliate stations and is hosted by Dave Graveline.
X10.com has also received requests to review one or all of the
2.4-gigahertz products from MP3.com, Newsweek, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, PC
Magazine, PC Computing, Salon.com, and Popular Home Automation.
Meantime, over 100,000 free FireCracker home control starter kits
have been put in the hands of new X10.com customers through select promotional campaigns
with ZDNET Anchordesk and groups of technology savvy web communities such as freshmeat.net
and Slashdot.org. The FireCracker has been featured on the CBS Radio Network, Anchordesk,
and the Arizona Republic newspaper.
