| X10.com to Editors: Its Easy to Cover the Wired Home New PR Director to push for more coverage of the Wired Home category X10.com,(www.x10.com/pressroom2.htm) the first manufacturer to bring home automation to the masses, has hired Jeff Denenholz as director of public relations. The recruitment of Denenholz is part of plan to provide editors with everything they need to write a really cool story about X10 products without ever having to leave the web site. Denenholz believes that persuading more editors to cover the Wired Home category regularly is the key to success. He understands that the best thing a public relations person can do for an editor is to keep him or her one step ahead of todays news. "I know editors are under constant pressure to come up with new story angles while at the same time being overloaded with stale PR pitches,"said Denenholz. "We can keep them on top of the Wired Home category and quarantee they will even have some fun testing products like the FireCrackerä Kit and the XCam ." "Our point is that a lot of editors are focusing only on the future, devoting most of their coverage to trends such as home networking and smart appliances," said Alex Peder, President of X10(USA) Retail Sales Division. "Were leading a completely separate category known as the Wired Home which is affecting peoples lives in a very positive way today." Denenholz will report directly to Peder. Besides Denenholz, X10.com has recently recruited a chief financial officer, chief operations officer, and a director of business development.
