Many customers have used the XCam2 to monitor their families, their homes, their businesses, and many other things. But how about a business that lets their
customers monitor them?
Troy Raymond and his wife decided to do just that. "We are a husband and wife
airbrush team," Troy says and they run a business called Streetwize. After a long time of using
the XCam2 for surveillance around their business, they decided that they would try something new.
"When we begin painting a customers project, we let them know that they can watch the
process as it happens." That allows the customer to be a part of the process.
And with that, they go to work. The camera refreshes once every minute, so the
customer will have a fresh look. But that means that anyone else stumbling across the site can watch
too. So customer and onlookers alike can watch this team at work. Almost as if they were working live
downtown.
Then once the projects over, the customer can come and collect their prize. And
Troy and his wife leave the picture up on their site until theyre ready to start another
project.
"My wife is usually sitting in the office watching the entire process,"
Troy says. "And when I get in the way, shell change the camera views so the best angle
available is the one uploaded." That allows them to always be showing off their best features.
Sort of like the old saying "be sure and get my good side."
Their next plan is to add XRay Vision, so that
they can fully enhance the experience for both themselves and their customers, making them one of the
first internet Airbrush teams in the world. And X10 is proud to be part of yet another Worlds
First.
