So, You Have a "Lunatic"
Neighbor
Theres an old saying; "you can choose your friends, but you cant choose your family." Well, the same rings true with neighbors. No matter how hard you try, no matter where you look, that
"perfect neighborhood" could be concealing something that youll never know about until you move in. After all, things happen.
Alice and her husband were in just such a predicament. They were having problems
with their "lunatic" neighbor, according to Alice. "He would sneak from his property
to look into our bedrooms and living rooms because he felt something was going on."
Not knowing what else to do, they took matters into their own hands. It wasnt
just Alice and her family, but her parents as well. You see, Alice and her family also live next door
to her parents (who in turn also live next door to the "lunatic neighbor"). So there was an
awful lot at stake.
To combat the problem, they set up 4 XCam2s at
their parents house, all safely concealed and hidden away. With the controller right there
"in their hands (just in case of need)." They also have the same setup in their house for
their children and themselves. On top of that, they added the RoboDog.
Just recently, they added NightWatch. "Boy has it
worked," according to Alice. "We have this person scared to come around."
Alice says now that, "quite frankly, my husband and I are able to go to work with
peace of mind, knowing that our parents and two children at home with them are safe during the day
from the harassment we have been facing." And she had some praise for X10 as well. "You keep
your customers (such as ourselves) from getting ripped off by companies who sell security cameras
at a ridiculous cost." In Alices case, she was quoted $4900.00 for one outdoor security
camera with a 12" monitor, and they had to set up their own VCR for recording.
At X10, protecting the family is what we do best, and the cost doesnt have to
be exorbitant. In Alices words, "Go figure!"
