Vvvrrrmmm Vision! XCam2 Takes on a Nitro-Fueled Mini Race Car!

Of all the places one would imagine finding the XCam2, a racecar might be down at the bottom of the list. But believe it or not, thats right where it has ended up. Now, mind you this isnt a full-scale racecar, but it is a racecar nonetheless.
Shayne Barr races radio controlled racecars competitively. "Now this isnt a toy car," Shayne tells us. "It is a 50 mph, nitro fueled 1/10 scale racer." Thats technical talk for "get out of the way, because this baby really moves." Shayne currently has the division points lead at both the tracks where he races, and he appeared in R/C Car magazine as one of the top ten drivers in his division. And this year hes expected to take the championship as well. There are even sponsorships and corporate endorsements from major corporations... Ahem, we find ourselves on that list.
"My project involves installing my XCam2 and battery pack onto the racecar," Shayne says. And once he has the camera installed, he hooks that into a audio/video receiver unit to increase the reception he gets at the track. Once thats all done, he runs the car. And theyre off, racing down the speedway like a bolt of lightning.
Oh what a sight that is. A remote controlled car screaming around the racetrack at about fifty miles per hour, just looking for someone to challenge it.
"I also maintain a high profile both locally and nationally through the car manufacturers website and message boards," Shayne says. He has also created his own website to detail his racing exploits.
Once the race is over, and Shayne is done, he has some great video of his races to post up on the websites so that he can share his passion with the rest of the world.
So its XCam2, a 50 mph, nitro fueled 1/10 scale racer, and Vvvrrrmmm! Hes off and running!
