1. Install modules in software
• Add appliance module to appropriate location, set house and unit codes
• Add chime module to appropriate location, set house and unit codes
2. Program macro to control Fire Starter (see graphic)
   • Turns on appliance module
   • Shuts off appliance module after 14 minutes
   • Rings chime after 14 minutes
   • Rings chime again at 15 minutes as reminder
3. Program macro to act as cooking timer (see graphic)
• Turn on chime 3 minutes (thin steak) after pressing key on palm pad
• Turn on chime 4 minutes (thick steak) after pressing another key on palm pad
4. Set up equipment
• Set house and unit code on appliance module
• Set palm pad to same house code
• Set transceiver to same house code

OPERATION:

When the BBQ button is depressed on the palm pad the appliance module will switch on the electric heater for 14 minutes. At the end of the 14 minutes the chime module will sound indicating it is time to remove the heater. The chime module will sound again at 15 minutes as a reminder. The "off" button associated with the appliance module will shut off the heater earlier if desired.

For thin steaks press the appropriate button on the palm pad. The chime will sound in 3 minutes at which point the steak can be turned to the uncooked side.

For thick steaks press the appreciate button on the palm pad. The chime will sound in 4 minutes at which point the steak can be turned to the uncooked side.

Modify the macro for different times or add additional macros for different times and associate them with buttons on the palm pad.
