Watching the
DayCare
Day Care Center allows parents to sleep secure!
The headlines are frightening. Daycare workers arrested for child abuse, nannies caught on
tape beating children, and the list goes on. And who of us can forget the Louise Woodward
story. The details of that case sent chills down the spines of every parent in America,
and it confronted us with the question "how can we protect our children when
were not there?"
Well one such Daycare is dealing with this problem
head-on. Rather than rely only on their great reputation, and good standing in the
community, they have installed XCam2, and XRay Vision
so that when parents drop off their children, and then head off to work, they can rest
assured knowing that the children are fine. How do they know?
Kinter-Kare Daycare has installed three wireless
cameras throughout their facility. These cameras broadcast a signal to a wireless
receiving unit, which then connects to a serial port on the computer. From there, pictures
are sent to the daycares website, where they can be downloaded to the offices of the
parents.
"It works for both of us" says Daycare
Director John Case. "The parents can check in on us at any time, and if theres
ever an accusation we have the video to show how we handled the situation." Its
an inexpensive way to bring about security and peace of mind. Especially for our children.
