Dear X10,
All of the stories and designer cams are great, but why not create a page that shows where to hide the cameras, inside and outdoors? This would give future and present customers other ideas and lead to more sales, right? I currently have two outside motion detectors mounted as "windows" in a model house and the camera is one of the two eyes in an owl statue. Get the picture? I did!!
Here's how:
The owl's right eye was replaced with a camera and the sensors are in the model house, which is on the patio. The house project can be purchased at a hobby house for $4.00. Add $2.00 for paint and then trim the windows a small amount. Next, just hot glue the sensors in as "windows"! Just so the other open windows don't look odd, they were covered with pieces of a gallon milk carton to match the two other "window" sensors.
Sincerely,
Pete
