Dear X10,

Although this may be a surprise to you, I was introduced to X10 at the age of nine! I had always been into electronics and similar hobbies. I loved every part of X10 and I immediately caught on. From then on I have been adding to my collection of modules and controllers.

A while ago, I purchased an ActiveHome kit. I loved it! I used it to run most of my house. This did drive my parents crazy, but they caught on quicker than I could ever have expected considering they both know nothing about electronics.

Now age 13, I was able to help with dances at school. I used my 6-in-1 remote to power my DJ quality lights (another thing I collect). Using the remote was very cool. Everyone wanted to see if it actually controlled the lights. Most people wanted me to so them the components of the system. I didn't hesitate to do so.

Then came my school's musical. This time, I decided to use the ActiveHome kit to run the lights for the musical called "Rock On". It was a grand success! I was even featured on the news doing a special interview with a reporter! I was amazed at how simple and smoothly everything ran. It was just great!

Then again in 2002 my school was doing another musical! I was now 14 years old. This time we were doing "Oliver Twist". Again I used ActiveHome to run the lights. This time I used features of the program like macros. Macros made a whole scene change all by a click of the mouse. Incredible!

X10 is a wonderful product. Do not be intimidated by it. You will be happy you made the investment and happy at the fact that you can constantly expand your system. Thank you X10 for making my life much more simple and my dances "totally cool man!"
