 | Convenience Store Stops Employee Theft
By Spiro V. |
I bought an XCam2 a while back and I can't thank your company enough for making such a wonderful product! I own a small convenience store and I noticed that my new help had "messed up" on doing the money count at the end of the day. One day he was short $128.00. The first thought that came to my mind was that someone was stealing products from the store.
I invested in a wired security camera from a local security store and paid $150 for it, plus a monitor that was $289. To make a long story short, I saw an ad on the Internet for wireless cameras from X10 and so I bought one of those as well.
When I got the package I set it up in the store and mounted it above the cash register. I had it record the help to see what was going on. The first night I recorded him stealing money from the register and putting it directly into his pocket! I want to thank X10 for making an inexpensive product that works like a charm. It ended up paying for itself!
Sincerely,
Spiro V.
