 | Entertainment Anywhere was the Perfect Solution
By Robert Starowski |
Our home entertainment system includes a CD/DVD player which holds 300 discs; our whole collection. This is fine when we are upstairs with the big screen and the new audio system. But what happens when we want to listen to our CD's downstairs around the pool table on the old audio system, or when we are stuck downstairs on a project in the computer/sewing room and we'd like to watch a DVD movie on the TV there?
My choices were to disconnect and haul the big CD/DVD player around the house (a very ugly proposition), buy separate DVD and CD players and borrow discs from the main player, or, as we ended up doing, simply get Entertainment Anywhere and beam our CD music or DVD video to wherever we happened to be. I was even able to avoid daytime TV while sick in bed, without exposing the rest of the household.
It's easy and quick to set up, sounds and looks great, and I can leave all the CD/DVD's right where they are stored, in the main player. Include with that a Remote Sender Powermid, and I can even use the system remote to control the playback from wherever I happen to be. Cheap and easy, and very nice. Problem solved for under $100 (with my sale voucher).
Sincerely,
