Even at age 9, Josh seems to have the same problems getting out of bed that the rest of us do. So that’s what Josh decided to tell us about. How he would use ActiveHome to start each morning, beginning with that 'oh-so-difficult-to-do’ - getting out of bed. He has his own setup in mind to physically roust him from bed every morning. "I would wake up each day to an automated bed-shaker that would be controlled by ActiveHome," he told us. Not only would that make getting up a little easier we thought, but it might also make "rise and shine" a lot more fun.

"I would not have to turn on my lights," Josh continues, "because that would already be done for me." Well Josh, that’s one thing we’ve had a lot of luck with - turning on and off just about any light.

"I would make a way for ActiveHome to have a nice warm shower for me to get into" was Josh’s plan as soon as he was physically out of bed.

"And then I would not be hungry because [ActiveHome] would already cook my breakfast for me. I would have French toast with butter and sugar. When I heard a bell it would be a five minute warning for me to hurry and brush my teeth and get ready because [ActiveHome] was about to turn on my favorite cartoon, Mummies Alive. Then, when the TV turns off automatically, I would know it’s time to go to school."

Josh has his mornings all planned out for him, from the moment ActiveHome wakes him up, to the time that ActiveHome gets him to school.

"I would have this cool thing because I don’t think that I would ever miss the bus and that would make my mom very pleased," Josh told us. And then he adds... "My friends would think I was a pretty cool dude!"
