Watch Your Jewelry
Being Repaired at Henry Jordans Website

These days you can do almost anything on the web. Anything from buying cars, listening to music, to
watching aunt Margaret fix her special "Fire-Breathing Dragon-Slaying Red Hot Chili from
Down Under." The web has completely revolutionized the way we go about our lives nowadays.
And X10 is revolutionizing the way we use the web.
Henry Jordan is a professional bench jeweler. A bench jeweler is someone who
works directly with the jewelry - fixing it, buffing it, and shining it up - as opposed to
someone who simply sells jewelry. Or, as Henry put it... "If theyre a bench jeweler
they have dirty fingers, and if theyre a jewelry salesperson, they have clean fingers."
Well as you can imagine, Henry Jordan fits into the "dirty fingers" category.
Henry has been working with jewelry for over twenty years, doing everything from
custom design to stone setting, as well as some unusual requests. Hes even hand made some
of his own jewelry. He says also that hes done some work for none other than Mr. Saturday
Night Fever, John Travolta. He also operates a "while you watch" kind of shop. Any of
his customers are welcome to sit in and watch him work on their jewelry.
As you know, jewelry is about more than money. It represents so many other things,
and usually has so much sentimental value tied to it, that just the thought of watching the guy
whos doing the work will cut down on some of the stress that goes with taking our precious
jewels to someone you dont really know.
And Henry has gone a step beyond that as well. Hes now set up the XCam2 so that he can show his work over the web. So now anyone
can go to his website, and see him working. So if you simply cant stay to watch once
youve dropped off your wedding ring to be re-sized (because your wife is such a fabulous
cook), you can log on to Henrys web site and watch him do the work while youre at
work, or at home, or out of the state.
As Henry puts it, "Customers love to see the work performed on their
diamonds. It feels good to them, seeing that no diamonds were switched, a good job was done, I get
paid and they go home happy. Everybody Wins."
Thats what we like most. A win-win situation. And thanks to the XCam2, that
win-win is even easier to attain.
