Easy Setup

Plug your favorite lamp into the lamp module. Plug an appliance (like the aforementioned coffeepot) into the Wireless Link Module™. Right out of the box you can use the PalmPad to turn these two devices on and off.

But you want to be able to do home control while day trading. So download the software from the Web site, double-click to install, and use the virtual PalmPad ™ to turn your light and your appliance on and off.

How the FireCracker™ Kit Works:

Using the software, you send commands to the computer interface that you've plugged into the back of your computer. The interface sends commands to the link module, which translates the wireless signal into an X10 signal.

X10 signals travel through the household wiring to the lamp and appliance modules you've connected to your lights and appliances. One click of the mouse, and your lights and appliances respond like magic!

If you need to leave your computer, simply slip the PalmPad™ Remote into your pocket. It can control the same 16 sets of lights and appliances your computer does, giving you the FireCracker convenience without being at your computer!

Easy Expansion

You can expand your powers by adding lamp or appliance modules; the FireCracker™ Kit can control up to 16 sets of lights and appliances. Create a true "home network" where you can run your household devices straight from the computer.
