About the Video Receiver A Video Receiver is a necessary component of X10’s Wireless Camera Systems. With a Video Receiver, you can receive video signals from up to 16 wireless cameras and display them (one at a time) on your TV screen. Alternatively, you can connect a Video Receiver to a VCR to record the video signals or to a PC for computer- or web-based surveillance (USB Video Capture Adapter and Software required).

 

About the ScanPad Remote Remotely control any combination of up to 16 lights, appliances and X10 Cameras from across the room or the other side of the house. Has dim and brighten control for any lights connected through an X10 Lamp module or Wall Switch. Dim your lights and set the perfect lighting level for any room, even if your lights didn't dim before. The ScanPad Remote works in conjunction with X10 Transceiver Modules.

 

About the Transceiver The powerful Transceiver Module is the relay for any wireless X10 system. It allows you to remotely control any household appliance or light that is plugged into an Appliance Module, Lamp Module, Wall Switch Module or any of our many other lighting and appliances products. It’s also the relay when switching between camera views in a multi-camera system. Simply plug the Transceiver into any normal wall socket and, using an X10 remote, control your lamps, appliances and cameras from across the room — or the other side of the house. Even remotely control a light or appliance that's plugged directly into the Transceiver!

 

About the Capture Adapter The Capture Adapter works with X10 video software, allowing you to operate X10 cameras and display video using your PC. It features an RCA video jack on one end and a USB jack on the other. The Capture Adapter plugs into an available USB port on your computer, and connects to an X10 Video Receiver with the RCA jack. Once it’s connected, and your X10 software is installed, you’re ready to start viewing your cameras on your PC!

 

About the PC Transceiver The USB Plug ‘n Play PC Transceiver sends and receives Wireless Radio Frequency (RF) signals and works with the MultiView or XRay Vision software (sold separately). The PC Transceiver also works with X10 Entertainment Software, Firecracker Software and can even dim lights that couldn’t dim before! The PC Transceiver can automatically turn on lights, appliances, and cameras through a Wireless Transceiver when X10 motion detectors are tripped.
