The Story: Oprah's had a hard day on the air, and she's really looking forward to relaxing at home. This means that all tasks and routines that require energy or thinking will get in the way of her relaxation. Using the keychain remote control she activates her "Coming Home" Macro as she is pulling in the driveway. ActiveHome then goes to work and automatically accomplishes the tasks involved with Oprah coming home. Below is a description of what will happen.

Activation of Macro: Oprah touches a button on her Keychain Remote to activate the Macro.

6:35 PM* ActiveHome turns on driveway light. ( appliance module )

6:35 PM* ActiveHome turns on garage light. ( lamp module )

6:36 PM ActiveHome activates sprinklers on back lawn. ( appliance module )

6:35 PM ActiveHome turns on hall lights to 50% and the bedroom lights to 100%. ( lamp module )

6:39 PM ActiveHome turns off the driveway lights. ( appliance module )

6:39 PM ActiveHome turns off garage lights. ( lamp module )

6:37 PM ActiveHome turns on stereo in the home to play some relaxing music. ( appliance module )

6:50 PM ActiveHome turns off sprinklers on back lawn. ( appliance module )
