When do I get paid?
Commissions checks are mailed out the 2nd week of the 2nd month after the sale was made. This prevents X10 from mailing out commissions for products that are returned during the money-back guarantee period.
Can I have my commissions wired to my bank account?
Yes, we can wire your commission to any bank you specify! Simply email the affiliate marketing director the following information:
- The name of the bank
- Bank account number
- Bank routing number
- Name the account is under
- State and or country that your bank is located.
You will be charged a wire transfer fee from $15.00 to $25.00 for every transfer that takes place. Your wire transfer will go out the 10th business day of every month. This is a service we are very pleased to offer our VIP affiliates!

Why Was I Rejected or Cancelled from the X10 VIP Affiliate Program?
Why was my application declined for acceptance as a member of the X10 VIP Affiliate Program?
There are certain guidelines that we must adhere to when allowing members to join the Affiliates Program. We do not accept applicants whose website(s):
- promote unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or objectionable materials against any groups based on race, disability, gender, culture, sexual orientation, or religion;
- promote sexually explicit materials;
- and/or are lacking a fair balance of independent content and ads. For example, a site consisting of all “Banner Pages,” which can potentially serve dozens of impressions on a single page load with little to no conversion.

No, affiliates who personally purchase X10.com products from their own site do not receive commissions from the purchase.

What are my responsibilities an as an Affiliate?
You responsible for is creating your site within the guidelines of our Affiliate Agreement and keeping fresh text links and banners on your site or within your email that you get from X10 VIP Affiliate Program. You will be responsible for ensuring your links and tracking codes are placed within your sites pages or within your email properly.
You are also responsible for ensuring that your account information, i.e., mailing address, phone number, and website information are up to date in our database. Failure to do so can result in a delay in receiving your commission check.

Where should I place the links on my site?
You should place links where they are easy for your site visitors to find, such as your homepage. Some other areas where you may want to place your links include your navigation bar, and any other traffic areas. Placing Banners at the top of the page as well as on your highest visited pages will increase your commissions. How often should I update my links?
You should update links to our products frequently. Fresh banners and text links are important for maintaining high visibility with your consumer market. Old banners and creative are often times overlooked.
Sales & Tracking Information For The X10 VIP Affiliate program
One of my customers just called in a sale or purchased online. Why is it not showing up on my reports?
Orders can sometimes take up to a day to show up on the online report. If the order was just placed, please provide enough time for the database to publish the sale to your report.
I saw a sale in my report and then it disappeared? Where did it go?
When a sale comes through one of your affiliate links, through our phone line, or through an email with your X10_ID attached to the sale, the commission will show. If the order bills successfully it will stay in your reports.
The data you see in the VIP control panel concerning commissions of successfully billed sales could fluctuate based on the following conditions concerning the sale. The order may not have qualified for commission. A Qualifying Order is described as one in which none of the following occurs:
- The credit card comes back fraudulent
- The customer cancels the order
- The Item is returned within 30 days
- The order was made by an affiliate as a self purchase (We do not commission affiliate self purchases)
X10 has an advanced proprietary internal software system which is extremely accurate. All of your bone fide sales commission will be granted to you.
X10.com will continue to attempt to get proper authorization on the consumer’s credit card for 1 month! This is great news for our VIP affiliates.
If a consumer calls in a product order to the X10.com sales line will I still get a commission?
YES! Have your consumers call our affiliate consumer sales line! The direct consumer purchasing line is 888-570-4964. Have consumers use your X10 Affiliate ID as an offer code and you will receive commission on the phone sale! You will receive the same commission as if it were a Web or E-mail sale.
My website hosting account has statistics software that shows I have over 500 unique hits on my website. So why does my control panel show 0 impressions?
You are hosting the code for your website through your own server and we are only tracking what comes to our website from your site which are the clicks on the "add to cart" buttons. We are not tracking anything else on the website or the landing pages that you host. When a consumer clicks on the "add to cart" button on your website then you will see a click in your reports.
An excellent idea is to put an X10 banner on all of the pages on your site so you can see impressions for each page. This is a great way for you to track impressions on each one of your landing pages or websites through our control panel.

Our affiliate’s links are set to land on Highly convertible product landing pages. We don't send your consumer to our site; we send them to landing pages that will SELL! Example: http://www.x10.com/affiliate/index_howsell.htm.
