Host a Landing Page Directions
Landing pages can be hosted and used as destination urls for PPC ads - or use as HTML emails.
- Select a category you would like to promote from the left or top navigation bar.
CATEGORY OPTIONS ARE:
- Highest Converting
- Camera Systems
- Home Security
- Home Automation
- Entertainment
- Software
- Select a landing page you would like to host from the category list and click on the link to access the landing page.
- View the HTML source of your selected landing page: On the top menu bar in Internet Explorer, click VIEW > SOURCE. This should open a text file of the html code for your selected page.
- Copy ALL of the code on your selected landing page and paste on an .HTML document: Select text (click EDIT > SELECT ALL ) then copy text ( EDIT > COPY ).
- Look for the following entry in the HTML code view between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags:
x10Cat.AffiliateID="INPUT_HERE";
- Replace INPUT_HERE with your X10 VIP Affiliate ID Number. (This entry is required for X10 to track your sales.)
EXAMPLE:
x10Cat.AffiliateID="x10_11144455566";
- Save your document and upload! You are ready to receive commissions on sales that come through this landing page!
When using these product landing pages, your customers will be purchasing directly off your landing page and bypassing the X10 product pages entirely. Once an order button is clicked, the customer is taken to the X10 shopping cart for order processing and checkout.Your X10 id will also be pulled in as the promotion code so you will receive phone sales commission as well!
