A Transition Pop-Unders ad is a powerful
ad unit that for many publishers is "found" inventory. The concept is very simple. If
the user clicks on an external link (leading away from your site) or enters a new
URL into the address line on their browser, they will be served a
Transition Pop ad.
The transitional pops are served when the user
changes domains. This happen by either clicking on an external link or by
typing a new URL into their browser.

Pops work. Click on the red start text below the graphic to run the
demonstration.
Real Time Demonstration
STEPS:
1. To properly demonstrate a
Transition Pop-Under, you need to ensure you have no X10 opt out cookies on your
computer. Clear your cookies by clicking on the
"Clear X10 Cookie" in the blue box below.
2. Next, you can either click on
one of the eternal links below (FedEx, UPS or USPS). This is simulating a
user exiting one site and going to another site. You can also type
in a new URL in the address line above. (Make sure you click back to
return to this page).
Check your task bar on the bottom of
your screen. You should see that a new ad has been served to your
computer and is waiting on your task bar.
3. Click on you task bar which should indicate that there is a new
open document (in a task bar button). If you click on that new task bar
button you can view the new pop-under ad.
4. To run the demonstration again,
start over at step one.
