A Transition Pop-Under is a powerful
ad unit that for many vendors is untapped inventory. The concept is very simple. If
the user clicks on an external link (leading away from your site) or enters a new
URL into the address line on their browser, they will be served a
Transition Pop-under ad.
Transition Pop-Unders launch upon leaving a site, either by clicking on an
external link (taking the user to a new domain) or by typing a new URL
into the browser.

Viewable Demonstration
What's the difference
between a common pop-under and a Transition Pop-under? The difference is that unlike a common pop-under, exit pop-under or
similar existing ads, transitional pops are served when the user
changes domains. A Transition Pop-Under will only be served when the user
clicks on an external link (leading to a new domain) or by typing a new
URL and pressing enter. The Transition Pop-Under will not run when a
user closes there browser.
