we heard were screams of delight! ActiveHome Pro continues a tradition
around the Halloween season. New features and an easier-than-ever Macro
Designer feature give you more control of your decorations. If
you've created your own homemade haunt using scream machines, animated
ghosts (crank ghost for those haunt enthusiasts), haunting music, eerie
light show, lightning effects, electric fire pots and more than your
imagination uncovered, ActiveHome Pro will soon become a welcome treat.
When
you use ActiveHome Pro software and USB computer Interface to control your
decorations, you've put the soul into your fun. The most powerful feature
that you will be using in the software is the Macro Designer. When you
want a motion sensor to start the thunder sounds, flash a strobe light,
and make a ghost fly overhead, you'll use the Macro Designer to put all
the effects together into one sequence, all triggered by a motion sensor.
Motion
Sensors have revolutionized how a Halloween Haunt performs. Now many of
the effect your create to scare the wits out of your guests can be truly
automated. This means they can operate automatically. The EagleEye
Motion Sensor is battery operated and weather resistant. Place one near a
staircase, under a bush, or near a gravestone. When used with
ActiveHome Pro, a motion sensor can be used to start and stop a series of
haunting events. 
Use
X10 Appliance Modules when you want to control electric devices that do
not need to be dimmed. For example, an X10 Appliance Module is idea for
controlling strobes lights, black lights, animated figures, electric
flames, and electric motors. Because of its higher wattage capacity, it is
also suitable for floodlights, rope lights, and other similar devices.
Note: Smaller fog machines (under 500 Watts) can be used with an Appliance
Module at the start and stop of the evening. But repeated ON/OFF
throughout the evening will prevent the fog machine from performing
properly.
X10
Lamp Modules come it three styles. There are two dimmable versions (X10
Dimmable Plug-In Lamp Module and the X10 Dimmable Screw-In Lamp Module)
that are suitable for controlling incandescent lights, such as those you
use to create an eerie lighting effect. Dimming colored lights (over 25
watts per bulb) near a fog machine will create a great rolling fog effect.
A third type of lamp module is the Socket Rocket Screw-In Lamp Module.
This non-dimming module is weather resistant and easy to use. Ideal for
use in outdoor floodlights to cast general lighting effects of a large
area.
When
it comes to testing your haunt, nothing is more useful to have than a
PalmPad Remote Control. Use it to test individual effects, as well as
starting and stopping Macros. The tiny Keychain Remote control is great
for carrying around with you to instantly startle a guest.
